I made these same biscuits one morning after spending the entire night before smelling biscuits in my apartment (not sure why) and seeing Mr. Brown make them on Food Network (exciting Friday night in my house). They turned out awesome, but I never tried an egg wash on them. I usually brush melted butter on my biscuits when I take them out of the oven. It's epic!

Again, not saying any of these scenarios are likely or that I want any of them to even happen (I'm all for keeping Doc-Lee-Hamels together for the next decade above all else), but I am just looking for options outside of the obvious FA candidates (Rollins, Reyes, Gonzalez, Furcal) and some Galvis/Valdez situation. This post made me chuckle... I can totally relate! And, I can see how the oven turning off when the timer goes off could be problematic! I always set the timer a few minutes earlier than I plan to take things out of the oven... Just in case!

Of course, these biscuits look absolutely fabulous. I love flaky, buttery biscuits. Yum!
