Love that mini version, Teanna. And I used to get such a kick out of that commercial, too. Too funny that you used to do that, too.

Snap, Crackle & Pop would definitely take the Keebler Elves, in my opinion. I think it's been a while since they've been outta that tree. And S, C & P look like they have some serious tricks up their sleeves! :o)

Mary

Wow, that looks incredible. I hope you submitted that pic to foodgawker or tastespotting. This recipe was sooo good.

chocolatechic

Oh wow!

You took it over the top.

Snap, Crackle, and Pop are the little elves names.

Kelly D

I think you took this torte to a whole new level. Gorgeous.

Janell

Love the pics. It looks delicious!

Sara

It looks great. I didn't get to make this, but your picture makes me want to now!

Kathryn Gerth

Very creative...love all those layers...so exciting to think about digging down through that deciding what to have, a little of this, a little of that, maybe a bite of all three! Funny post...I come for the weekly food and giggles, you know! Great job!

Kim

This looks so yummy. I love your post.

Michelle from Baken

I love your presentation! So funny about the rice krispies commercial... it would have been much more realistic if she had glued a couple rice krispies to make a dirty apron.

Leanne

Oh my goodness your presentation is amazing.

Jill

I've always assumed that Snap Crackle and Pop are their names...not that I've put a lot of thought into it! Your mini cake looks fabulous!

justcooknyc

cupcake camp? how did I not know about that?

peggy

Yep, they are the elves names. Your torte is beautiful. Love the way you presented it.

The Duo Dishes

Your chocolate streak is a great path to the final dessert destination!

Michelle

Oh your minis looks adorable. I love the cookie crust too!

So flour on your clothes and in your hair is the secret? Why didn't I think of that a long time ago!

Tangled Noodle

Your mini-torte looks as if it just slid into view, declaring, "Ta-dah!"

It's fantastic and you made me laugh, remembering that commercial. If I look like a wreck after baking, it's because I really am a wreck when I bake! 8-)

Jacque

Oooh, somebody's gettin' fancy! :)

Seriously, how delicious and lovely does that look? (very!) Great job, it looks fantastic!

Kristen

What a gorgeous looking torte.
I totally remember that commercial and am cracking up at you throwing flour on yourself when you make slice and bake!

Eliana

I love your interpretation of this recipe. It's so elegant. And I am looking forward to reading about the cupcake event. I was bummed out about not being able to make it.

Amy

I've been looking for someone who made chocolate mousse with this. And it looks amazing!!!
