Oh shoot! I could totally see that happening to me. I can't believe you were able to come up with something different in the hour before he got there. Kudos to you. You are amazing!

Eliana

I've still got love for you even sans the fancy camera.

jenn

Wow, nice save on the final minutes there. I would have been freaking out by then. LOL. Great job!!

Jill

Mole can be good! I've never made it, but David Lebovitz has a recipe that I'm planning to try.

Elizabeth - Cake or Death?

Oh, that SUCKS! All that work for a mediocre dish. But big props for saving the day with your duck ragu...I wouldn't know what to do with duck breast if it came with a talking instruction book.

grace

you just take all the time you need. i'm full of love for kevin and i find that i have all kinds of confidence in his skills even though i don't know the first thing about him. good luck mastering mole (and not the animal, mind you--ick)!

Jen @ My Kitchen Addiction

Even though it's not the Deconstructed Mole, your dish looks great. Good save.

Jennifer

See, your viewers didn't run away when they saw the iphone photo. (I take crappy photos anyway, so, I'm not one to EVER judge!)

Your dish looks beautiful!

Jen

Great save with the duck breast ragu! Much better than "poop on a plate" :)

Phyllis (me HUNGRY!)

Your iphone photo still looks pretty good to me, great plating :) Sorry the 'poop on a plate' didn't taste that good. I must admit that I got a little nervous when I saw 'mole' in your title - I thought at first that you were attempting to make Rick Bayless' gazillion ingredient Oaxacan mole from Top Chef masters!

sophia

Ah, that's surprising you, the fabulous Teanna, messed up in the kitchen. But I suppose even a genius deserves a break once every often. But the picture looks great, seriously. If you had just presented it and raved about it, I would have totally believed you.

Ashley

Aww how disappointing! I don't know if I've ever had mole sauce. Your creation looks good though!

Scootabaker

I dropped my camera on its lens and now it doesnt focus. Haven't even had time to go get it fixed. I almost don't wanna post because I wont have pretty photos, but it shouldn't matter because if your stuff is good, it'll show, fancy pics or not. So you seemed to have escaped that barrier!

luv,
heather
