I would never leave if I visited that house! The kitchen alone would make me want to stay forever, not to mention the gorgeous views. Love your dish too - simple and elegant.

Eliana

Sounds like you had an amazing time. And that kitchen lives in my dreams too!

Cookin' Canuck

No, I couldn't blame him. What an idyllic spot. The mussels look gorgeous!

lisaiscooking

Sounds like a perfect weekend! Mussels are so good cooked this, and so quick!

Ashley

Wow what an amazing place to spend a weekend!! Lucky you.

Jacque

Oh my! Everything about LBI looks wonderful. Am jealous!

Thanks for sharing, I haven't heard of it before.

Cheri

Ahhh... I feel more relaxed just reading about this place. Your photography just keeps getting better and better. That first picture of the Mussels is stunning!

Wendy

Sounds like a great weekend! Beautiful place.

It's funny how the beach is called the shore in New Jersey.

jenn

Sounds like a awesome time. I love those type of town where it feels like home.

Nicole (dishin')

That place looks like the perfect vacation spot. I love the views and the kitchen!

phyllis (me HUNGRY!)

Gorgeous photos, gorgeous food! (very jealous of your wide angle lens, although I've yet to even master my simple point-and-shoot camera). LOL about the True Life special - I was scared to go to the shore after seeing that too! I've only been to Wildwood so far, very family oriented (no sightings of orange hued people in wife-beaters) :)

Leslie

It must be impossible to leave such a beautiful, relaxing spot!

Caitlin

Wow, that sounds absolutely fabulous. And the NYer thing of no one smiling - so true! Those chairs? Yeah, they're calling to me.

Natasha - 5 Star Foodie

What a wonderful weekend getaway! I would be so tempted to skip work and stay there! The mussels sound excellent and all your photos are just gorgeous!

Sabrina

What a lovely place! I love the kitchen too!! And the mussels looked amazing! YUM!

nick

The view from the house is SICK (and you're mussels don't look half bad either).

I grew up outside Philly and our go-to summer spot was the (infamous) Jersey shore. I always loved it there as a kid. As an adult I'm LOVING the Outer Banks (I guess I'm supposed to say that being a "southerner" now), but it will never take the place of all the memories I have of the family vacations from my childhood.

Stacey Snacks

T, you are lucky the weather held up for you, and that kitchen for a shore house is amazing!!!

Jen @ My Kitchen Addiction

Oh my - looks SOOO wonderful! I was going to say I especially liked (insert picture here)... but they are all wonderful! And the view is spectacular! I want that kitchen.

ingrid

I can't get past the kitchen! It is a dream. I agree boooooo, Jack!
